Digital signage, also known as narrowcasting, is the overarching term for digital screens such as LED displays, LCD monitors, or projection systems that showcase multimedia content like videos, images, text, or animations. It is a form of communication often used for advertising, information sharing, and innovative or interactive applications. Some of its advantages include being more sustainable than physical POS materials, remote management capabilities, and the ability to quickly respond to current events. In short, digital signage is a smart and sustainable way to present content.

The Approach

Vitam asked us to help develop a sustainable digital signage solution aimed at inspiring and encouraging their restaurant guests to make healthier choices.

To support Vitam, we provided guidance on the necessary hardware, software, and content. We created a content plan and templates tailored to the specific needs of each location, including menus, specials, and price lists, as well as storytelling content to communicate Vitam’s vision on healthy eating and sustainability.

The Solution

The software we recommended and implemented for Vitam provides a convenient tool that allows them to schedule content remotely. Through a hands-on workshop with real-life use cases, we trained Vitam employees to independently manage and update their digital signage.

Overall, this resulted in a scalable solution for Vitam, which they can roll out to both existing and new clients as a valuable addition to their services.
